About Me

Who am I? Well, I am your average kind of girl with a not so average outlook on life, the world and the people in it. I am definitely an idealist and dreamer, even though one could argue that I went through my fair share of heartaches and misery in my life. What makes me possibly unique (at least that is what my friends and my husband always tell me) is the fact that I don’t give up and that I usually strive to be as self-aware as I possibly can. I usually try to refrain from placing blame on others for my short-comings, or for things that may not go right. I have a high sense of integrity and do believe that integrity is the most important trait in any human being.

On the “esoteric” side I have studied most religions and many paths of spirituality or philosophy. I never did decide on one single one, and tend to draw from all my studies. To a degree I am a Buddhist Pagan, and yet, I am neither of these. I am a bit of a contradiction in some ways, but what would you expect from a Virgo with a Scorpio rising and a Gemini moon?

I do not force my beliefs on others and hence, would appreciate it if others on my blog do the same. I do believe in karma and find that our lives are usually a reflection of how well we treat others. I believe that the amount of “good quality” friends we have is a direct indicator of who we are. I also believe that life is nothing but a huge learning experience and I try my utmost best to always learn from each mistake and each thing I have done well.

On a personal note, I am born on September 3, 1969. I am married but do not have children. My husband Andrew, is a digital effects supervisor for the movie industry, while I am the  fraud prevention manager for an awesome company in Burbank. I am currently writing a book about human hard-wiring called “Hard Wired,” and have started another one on people management called “Managing the Delusional.”
